Wilson's Mills is the gateway to excellent big woods hunting for Deer and Moose. 200 pound and better bucks are not uncommon in this area. The area around Wilson's Mills has hundreds of miles of logging roads to explore. These Logging roads are on private land and is open to the public for hunting big and small game at no cost.
Maine's regular deer hunting season runs the entire month of November and muzzleloader season runs one week into December.

If you chose to hunt New Hampshire, their Muzzleloader season runs the last week of October through mid November. The rifle season opens the day after the Muzzleloader season and goes through the first week in December.
